WELCOME TO CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS

a comfortable guesthouse approved by Failte Ireland (The Irish Tourist Board). This Georgian townhouse, more than 150 years old, is situated close to the harbour of the small fishing town of Kinsale, on the scenic South Coast of Ireland. We are also a member of The Irish Hotels Federation, Kinsale Chamber of Tourism and Cork / Kerry Tourism. There is no smoking in the house.

You will find restaurants, bars and other town amenities within easy walking distance. Refurbished top to bottom in 1996, our house combines original charme with modern facilities. Enjoy the maritime ambience throughout the house. We, Justina and Aiste, assure you of a friendly welcome, a shipshape house and personal attention.

For your accommodation there are 6 guest rooms. Two are fully wheelchair accessible.
Our prices range from EUR 30.00 to EUR 50.00 per person sharing, depending on the season and room type. A surcharge of 50% applies if a double, twin or triple room is booked for only one person. Presently 1 Euro is approx . 1.23 USD and 0.67 GBP. We offer reductions for children and longer staying guests. Kinsale is beautifully situated on the mouth of the Bandon River, on the Atlantic Coast in the South of Ireland. It is well known as the Gourmet Capital of Ireland because of its many restaurants serving excellent food. The town is a good base for a variety of activities and for touring the beautiful South West. Kinsale has won the national tidy towns competition several times and was awarded the first European Prize for Tourism and Environment.
